3-0 BABY!!!

3-0 BABY!!!

What a game! We're back from Seattle and had a great time with all the fellow Seahawk fans. We had a blast meeting everyone and seeing some old faces again too. There were four NorCal members who attended the game (Myself, Caroline, Vance and Mike Parmenter.
I was able to get on the field for the pregame tour with my camera and got some great shots! I now have to edit the 360 pics that I took that day. I will be posting a link on this site for everyone to view the images. I will also be sending some pics to Brian Oaks to post on the Seahawk Sal site.
The Hawks are the first team to shut out the Forty Whiners in 27 years (Great job Hawks!). Our Bye week is next week then back to Quest field to crush the Rams.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at the game in SF for the "Stompin' at the Stick"!

GO HAWKS!

Safely in Seattle

We have arrived in Seattle and brought the laptop with us. Our hotel room is near Seattle Center and faces the Space Needle. We drove by Qwest Field today and found the "holy land".....lol. The weather has been great today with no rain in sight!

Todays Game vs the Bucs

I made it to Legends today to watch the game. There were about 7 Seahawk fans there to watch the game on the BIG screen (none that I recognized). It was a defensive game for the most part today! The Hawks looked GREAT as usual, but just did not have that offensive spark all day. Shaun Alexander played, but did not look 100%. He only totaled 45 yards and did not have any big plays. Hasselbeck was 12/26 and 147 yards on the day. His only touchdown pass was to Koren Robinson. Marcus Trufant and second round pick Michael Boulware both had one int a piece. There were a couple of bad calls on the hawks, but in the end we are 2-0.

The Hawks are the only team in the NFC West to be 2-0 with the Forty Whiners, Rams, and Cardinals all losing today!!!

Shaun Update

After doctors performed an MRI on Shaun Alexander's right knee, they saw a bone bruise and not the ligament damage

Coach Holmgren said he will be day to day this week and that he might miss a week or two, or he might play Sunday.

Pleas let us know where you plan on watching the games so we can let other members of our chapter know where to meet others to cheer on the Seahawks. We are especially looking for "child friendly" establishments.

Pre-Game Field Passes

David Israel, SeaHawkers V.P. Liaison, is putting together a list of which SeaHawker chapters will get pre-game field passes to home games. The pre-game field passes consist of going on a tour of the field 1 hour prior to kick off. Please let us know by Thursday, Sept. 16th if anybody in the NorCal chapter will be traveling to Seattle for any of the home games so we can try to make sure our chapter gets a chance to go onto the field. David has 10 passes for each home game so let us know how many people will be at each game, if any. This will be done on a first come, first served basis. Thanks!

Everybody who goes on the pre-game field tour MUST:
1) Be a member of the Sea Hawkers Booster Club (Must pay 2004 dues)
2) Have a ticket to that game. (You will not be let into the stadium without a ticket to the football game)
3) Meet David Israel at the Sea Hawkers booth in the convention center, (located directly south of the stadium) exactly 1 hour before kick off. Don't be late!!!
4) Be a Seahawk fan. If you are wearing an opposing team jersey you will not be allowed on the pre-game field tour.

Please let us know as soon as you can!

GO SEAHAWKS!!!

Seahawks Trim Roster

The Seattle Seahawks reached their regular-season roster limit Sunday by waiving 19 and placing two on injured reserve.

On Monday, September 6, the Seahawks can establish a practice squad of no more than eight players.

The NFC West won a lottery drawing during NFL Europe’s World Bowl and each of the four teams in the division were assigned one extra NFLEL national player who will join clubs as part of the NFL International Development Practice Squad program.

Christian Mohr, a DE from Germany and who played for the Berlin Thunder, was assigned to the Seahawks. He will not be eligible to be claimed by another team or promoted to an active roster.
