Guest Speaker Announced!
~Mike Sando will be joining us for the pre-tailgate party on Saturday, November 6 at the Hilton Garden Inn in So. San Francisco. Mike is the Tacoma News Tribune beat writer for the Seahawks and recently co-authored a book with Steve Raible. The book, Tales from the Seahawks Sideline, has become a quick favorite read among Seahawk fans, as it describes much of the Hawks early history and captures many behind the scene antics and stories of our favorite Hawks.
Mike was able to join the Sea Hawker group that made the trip to New Orleans and was a wonderful speaker. He told many stories about writing the book and did some Q & A about the state of the Seahawks. Mike has agreed to bring copies of the book with him to San Francisco. This hardback edition of the book will be available for $20 that evening. If you plan to attend the party and would like Mike to bring a copy for you to purchase, please let us know now! It is important that this number be as accurate as possible, so that Mike does not return to Seattle with a number of unsold books.
If you are still interested in attending the party and have not sent in your payment - please let us know as soon as possible as the hotel needs a final head count for the buffet by Tuesday, November 2. Payment is $30 pre-paid or $40 the night of the party (price is per person). If you cannot pay until the night of the party, just let us know now because we still need to know if you are coming!
