If you find yourself like I do, wanting to do something for the Dilfer family but at the same time wanting to respect their wishes of privacy during this time. I ask you all to take a moment and add your thoughts, prayers and condolences to the comments of this post. It can act as an open letter to the family until they announce, if at all a charity or official organization to send cards and donations to. If such announcement is made the NorCal SeaHawkers will make the named organization the sole beneficiary of any and all donations to charity this year.
Sincerely

A Message From The Dilfer Family:

“We are deeply grateful for the prayers and kindness of so many relatives, friends and strangers over the past five weeks. We will always cherish the heroic efforts of the doctors and nurses at Children’s Hospital-Central California, and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Trevin was a very brave young boy and we are comforted in knowing that as a child of God, he has returned to his maker, we grieve, but not as those without hope. In this time of sorrow we are thankful for the sensitivity displayed in respecting our privacy.”
God’s Blessings to All of You,
Cass and Trent Dilfer
